Physiotherapy Clinics In Ottawa

Physiotherapy is an important part of your recovery after your joint replacement. It can help you in many parts of your life, such as feeling safe and stable as you climb stairs.

To help you access physiotherapy more easily, The Ottawa Hospital has partnered with regional hospitals and community clinics to offer you one episode of physiotherapy during your recovery. An “episode” is a bundle of physiotherapy sessions that are all focused on reaching a particular goal. It may take two sessions to reach your goal, or it may take ten. All the sessions needed to reach that goal are part of the same episode.

Booking Your Appointment: We will send a referral to your preferred physiotherapy provider once you are discharged from the hospital. The provider will call you to book your first appointment. If you do not hear from them within about a week, please call the provider directly.
